Professional Development for teachers
We offer 1.25 hour sessions for after-school sessions; these are enjoyable and encouraging, offering you tips and knowledge on how to support your students' understanding of their bodies and selves.
Longer professional development sessions are developed in consultation with you, to ensure we address the teaching and learning needs of your school community.

Support for you as a teacher with our program
From the planning and delivery to assistance with how to approach sensitive topics, we work with teachers and parents to create programs that holistically address the needs of your student groups. This converts to a warm and welcoming approach to professional development for teachers, to support them in practical preparation for conversations about sensitive topics.
We provide briefing, progress and debriefing sessions with teachers. We prepare lesson plans for teachers to review and discuss in advance. We encourage them to participate in classes, contributing wherever they feel comfortable. (Typically, teachers are contributing a lot more, and more comfortably, by the end of the program!) As we progress, we work with staff to ensure specific individual and class needs are being met.

We offer parent information sessions prior to the program being delivered. Even if we do not get many parents attending, it’s a great opportunity for the staff to hear some parent voice regarding the structure and content of the program.
For families to get age-appropriate program content and discussion, we can run an evening where we have two or more consecutive times for parents and carers. For example, F-2 parents and carers come at 6.00- 7.30, and those for 3/4 students meet at 7.45 – 9.15pm.
- For all levels and abilities, we offer single-sex sessions in the middle of the program
- Duration of each session: 2 hours
- Class teachers to share classroom delivery with Robin and Janoel facilitating the learning
- We are also happy to adapt our program around the needs of your cohort and community
